What are your "Rules for Life?"

There’s no such thing as a free treadmill.

You will pay in other ways.

 

Take yes for an answer.
Never let the perfect get in the way of the good
Always pay your debts and bills immediately
Respond to invitations as soon as you can
Text an old acquaintance at least once a week to see how they are doing

 

Dream. Try. Do good.

 

You get what you pay for.
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

 

Appreciate what I’ve got now, things can always be worse.

Follow up with friends and business associates..

Be thankful to my parents and grandparents and wife.

A wise Older Man on golf course once told me (I was 24ish) “you only get so much negative capital in your life, use it wisely.”

 

I only have one and it sits on my desk and it’s not even a rule per se.
