I will be staying somewhere with a Wegmans down the block next weekend, really from Thursday night (g-d willing) until Saturday morning. What non perishable Wegmans-only products should be on my shopping list? Extra points for road trip snacks.

Can't answer the original question here but I did watch a butcher carve a 350-pound swordfish at Wegman's.

They're perishable, but if you can find Sahlen's hot dogs, buy them, and freeze them to take with you if possible. You will not be disappointed.

There should be a special area for Upstate NY specialties. Explore.

Perishable - but their Baba Ganoush is very good. Better than some restaurants.

NOT perishable, per the post: Their coffee is excellent and their K-Cups, if you go that route, are very inexpensive.

I mostly buy ordinary stuff under the Wegman's label, like cheap canned beans, salsa, and peanut butter.

From the snack aisle, I'm a fan of the peanut butter and jelly trail mix.

I am never not delighted by regional grocery stores. The Uncanny Valley feeling of everything being kinda like your grocery at home but not quite is one of the more underrated aspects of travel.

    I’m getting old.

When we travel, I always go into a grocery store. ProTip, food is way better and almost any place other than United States.

Thankfully I’m within an hour of Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati, which pretty much brings the world’s grocery store to the U.S. We go about every six weeks. We stock up on as much Asian food as we can fit in a Civic.

What I wouldn't give to have a Wegman's or Publix in my town. Both are in Richmond, Virginia, which means I may have to retire there.
