A late rally by the Sixers makes the game vs. the Hawks seem more competitive than it was.

Now, with the Clippers wearing their black uniforms in game seven, it's like Leonard never left the Spurs.

ETA: Watching the pick and roll with Doncic and Boban sure is fun. Clippers have the better roster to me, and should win this, but Rick Carlisle is one of those coaches that seems to wring maximum effort and skill out of plenty of players.

Damn, imagine you’re Luka and after 46 and 14 assts you lose.

Not a fan of Morris but Clips won because he went 7 for 11 from 3.

I have a feeling Luka won't be giving the Mavs a hometown discount when contract time rolls around. That franchise is an island of misfit toys right now.

I just don’t see it with KP as a top-3 player on a very good team.

Yeah, but realistically he has another 5 years or so before it's an issue and the team can do a lot in that time. Virtually everybody signs the first extension.

The tricky thing is, they don't have a lot to work with to build that team. They don't have much in trade value and their picks aren't going to be great.

I assume they'll be hitting the free agent market hard.

His PER has gone from the 17s his first two years, to the low 20s for his last year with the Knicks and his two years with Dallas. That's the dangerous zone of "pretty good, but not max level good." When the player is in his early 20s, you sign him and hope he improves. I think KP's string of minor and major injuries has probably cut into his ability to improve much from where he's at. He's still good, but he's being paid like an all-star - $33M next year, and a $36M player option that he's probably going to pick up the year after - when he probably tops out as a really nice rotation regular.

That KP pull-up 3 on a two-on-one fastbreak yesterday was a thing of beauty :D

They don't have a ton of cap space either - Around $17M for next year, according to Spotrac.

That's about three times what I'd be willing to pay Porzingis but I absolutely hate the way he plays so I may not be fully rational on this.
