In 2019, a prisoner tortured and decapitated his cell mate. Despite meeting hours to do the deed, guards reported both men to be alive during rounds. Now a report by the state and a lawsuit by the victim’s family say the guards lied about details to cover up how they missed the killing. The Department of Corrections say they conducted a proper investigation and have no idea how this happened.

But cops be copping and are hoping no one would notice.

A self-styled satanist beheaded his cellmate, but the guards didn't notice, report says

I’m sure the judge hasn’t ruled yet because he’s still laughing at the absurdity of the motion.

“You can get probation after we let one of George Floyd’s relatives kneel on your neck for 10 minutes... if you’re still alive. Maybe.”

Ex-West Linn lieutenant tied to Michael Fesser case to resign from state police training job

This case is so all kinds of wrong and says so much about the state of policing today. Long story short. Affluent town's chief of police has a buddy with an employee alleging he's racist. Chief agrees to set the guy up and enlists Stradley to get some of his old Portland police buddies to do the arresting. In the fallout, Stradley lands position with the state to head training at the state police academy where he indoctrinates who knows what kind of ethics, spends the last year on paid leave ($131k) - and this is on top of his Portland PD pension.
