She was trying to crawl through a broken window. There were still members of Congress in the room she and the mob were trying to enter. The officer's job is to protect members of Congress.

She was warned not to do what she did. The officer did his job.

Well, shit, with you certifying all of that by the power vested in you, why do we need pesky little things like processes and an actual criminal and civil legal system?

They already decided not to charge the officer.

She should have complied with the officer’s instructions. #bluelivesmatter

She also should have shown personal responsibility by not going through a broken window when the door was already locked and it was obvious that people weren't allowed in.

And her husband has every right to have everything that police department has regarding her death, and he has every right to pursue any civil action he wants.

It's up to a legal process and a court to adjudicate it. Not public opinion or your decree about what she should or shouldn't have been doing.

If the idea that she was wrongfully killed gains traction, then the idea that it was just a bunch of hard-working, patriotic Americans who only wanted to be heard becomes accepted as the truth.

    We cannot let that happen.

Indeed. The way to guard the truth is to keep info hidden, act in secrecy and deny all due process.

If the process shows that 1-6 was no big deal, you good with that? I'm not.

Trumpers are trying to say she was the only one killed that day even though she wasn't. We can't let their side of things be accepted as the truth.

How many Americans believing it defines "being accepted as the truth"?
