Last movie you watched......

Went to see Quiet Place 2. First movie in a theater since February of last year. It was good as sequels go. It was just great to be in a theater.

 

Cruella is a fun movie. Beautifully shot, wonderful costumes and a great soundtrack. While we see the origin of Cruella de Ville, she is not the real villain here. And although it’s a Disney movie, it’s not for the little ones who love 101 Dalmatians.

Saw it in a theater. It’s around $30 through Disney Max, or whatever it’s streamer is called.

 

Spent the $30 to watch it with my daughter and Son-in-law. Worth it. It was really good movie. Soundtrack is great too.

 

Bizarre and hilarious. "My OS, I think it's crashing."

 

“In the Heights.” Wow.

 

Those Who Wish Me Dead starring Angelina Jolie was pretty decent. A brisk 1:40, but they do a good job establishing the characters. I don’t say it often, but an extra 20 minutes would have served the story well to flesh out the villains’ motives.

City by the Sea. Can’t go wrong with a Robert De Niro movie.

Interesting. Some people, from what I'm seeing, are shitting on the movie because, they say, the cast is "too white" and "completely erases" Afro-Hispanic culture: Let's Talk About In the Heights and the Erasure of Dark-Skinned Afro-Latinx Folks. One commenter on the story called Miranda a "colonizer."

 

So was this all a setup to post that link?
