What a sobering article.

 

Maybe someone should bulldoze the rotting landfill the SBC has become and put up a church in its place. If you don’t have time for or access to the article at least read the Twitter thread.

 

That every other Christian Sect hasn’t publicly denounced theses heretics and scumbags says more about Christianity than it does about the SBC.

 

This whole thread … damn. The SBC is all in on declining to fully investigate sexual abuse.

The Baptist Student Union at Memphis State was still racially segregated in the late '80s. At SIFC meetings, the Black BSU house and the White BSU house had separate representation, etc.

 

Pretending that sexual abuse exists is against their religion.

 

Most schools have Black Student Unions, Asian Student Unions, Women’s Student Union, Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Trans, Afro-Caribbean, Hispanic, Jewish, Native American ….
Most colleges abide by the ‘separate but equal’ philosophy. Everyone can have a group and groups can control their membership. Otherwise the Klan would join the NAACP and disband the organization

 

Jesus was relaxing in Heaven when he noticed a familiar-looking old man. Wondering if the old man was his father Joseph, Jesus asked him, "Did you, by any chance, ever have a son?"

Jesus rubbed his eyes and said, "Dad?"

The old man rubbed his eyes and said, "Pinocchio?"

 

I see Armani Ronnie Floyd is doing his best to coverup the problems at SBC. Not too long ago, he hired a private chopper to ferry himself between campuses of his churches in northwest Arkansas so he could preach to multiple congregations.
