Interesting that Rizzo is scared of a vaccine, but he'll stand on the plate for a 100 mph heater.

As an aside, I saw "Jurassic Carl" Everett play in the Atlantic League. He would actually bat with his toes touching the plate, since even in his baseball dotage no A-Leaguer could throw it by him.

He refused to show me his WS rings despite my pestering him.

I though the huge contraction of minor league baseball was supposed to result in the remaining players making a livable wage. Guess they forgot all about that.

I got blacked out of the Yankees/Blue Jays tonight despite being located in the Boston market. Can't figure out why.

The Diamondbacks must be the biggest fans of the Suns about now. The deeper the Suns' run goes, the less people are paying attention to the D'backs, who led 7-0 after 1 1/2, only to lose 9-8 at San Francisco on a splash slam by Yaz. T'was Arizona's 12th straight loss and 21st straight road loss.

Last AZ win on the road, I believe, was Bumgarner's not-no-hitter.

I was at Sunday’s game. They just look like a totally defeated team.

I think it’s probably a bad sign when your cleanup hitter is batting .204.
