Max extension for a player to miss ten free throws while being content to take four shots. You need to be Robocop on D too make up for that

Can’t even imagine what it’s like to coach that guy. You’d spend every minute fighting the urge to slap him upside the head and scream “what’s wrong with you?!?”

Bad loss for the Jazz. You get the Clippers without Kawhi, you damn well better win it.

Hat's off to Paul George, though. Dude played a hell of a game. Happy for him.

Jazz ran out of gas and the Clippers’ role players stepped up when they needed it. Paul George was fantastic, obviously, but it was his support. Jazz tried to trade haymakers early and fell flat when they needed to land a big punch later in the game.

Clippers will close it out at home Friday after Utah go down at the half and struggle to keep up. Clips play loose and come away with a close but comfortable win.

Big congrats to Clips; I thought they’d get rolled tonight. Instead PG, Morris and Jackson were nails. Jazz just didn’t play solid. Gobert can’t guard anyone on perimeter.

You could have made a ton of money on the betting apps these past three days.

A DK buck on the Hawks to win at halftime? Shit.

Wut? Was working all day out in the sun and crashed out at 9:30 like an old and the Sixers were up like 20. Holy shit.

The live spreads are always tempting. Team down by 20, you wanna take 'em +19.5? It's the NBA, everyone makes a run, question is whether they can make it stick.

Were big leads in sports always this transient?

It feels like over the last 20 years deficits in games and in series that used to be out of reach are overcome and won.

Is this like a track and field thing where seeing a record fall opens the mind up to the possibility of something?

The 3-pointer has made insurmountable leads quite surmountable at all levels of basketball.

Mathematically, a lead is less significant when the scores are higher.

Points scored at a higher rate means a 20 point lead for a 64-44 halftime means less than a 20-point lead with a 44-24 halftime score.
