One of the twitter commenters pointed out that there might not have been anyone guarding the plate and he could have made it home, but he was too tired.

Galvis gave up on the play; he could have run Ramirez down before third, or at least made it close.

Jose Ramirez is built like a Minion. No way he makes it home after that. That man has more self-confidence than any player I’ve ever met, though. He became a star via pure belief in himself.

First baseman messed up by not following his throw to second and getting in the rundown line.

Once the rundown started, LF should have bee-lined into the infield, gotten over to cover 3rd.

Yeah, but unnecessary if first baseman is at second. He hung the shortstop out to dry.

Speaking of bad baserunning, the Buffalo Blue Jays just had runners on second and third and no outs against the Yankees ... and ran themselves into a triple play.

What needed to happen on that play was them to not be the Orioles.

The boxscore on the triple play is pretty cool: Sanchez Torres LeMahieu Urshula Torres LeMahieu

In this house, two pair beats 3 of a kind.
