Took the Nets +510 at halftime of game 5 for a few, which was nice. The juice is crazy, Bucks were -800.

 

I can't exactly explain why, but that juice isn't much different than a -110 line for 2 evenly matched teams.

 

Wow, Nelson out as Mavs GM and now report that Carlisle won't return. Careful, you might end up with either a Bjorkman or Stan VG situation and Carlisle starts looking pretty good.

 

I can understand Dallas maybe deciding that now was just the time to reset everything. But Carlisle is probably the best head coaching candidate out there now as a result, depending on what you think of Chauncey Billups and Becky Hammon's potential. Maybe he wants to wait out what happens with Milwaukee - that strikes me as a team that could really use him - otherwise, New Orleans seems interesting. Carlisle has managed to get some good performances out of unheralded players, since the Mavs have picked late in the draft often.
