It was even worse. They had zero SHOTS. For the whole game. The bench played 20 minutes had 2 rebounds, one assists, three fouls and no fucking shots.

Yup. Someone like Mike James, Claxton or TLC needed to get 8 minutes, especially with Harden at 40%. That being said, if Harris could throw the ball in the ocean or KD’s toes were one inch back on that last shot, they win.

    I get it's a Game 7, but:

Claxton played at least 13 minutes in each of the first four games of the series, played a total of 5 in the last three.

James in the first four games -- 30, 24, 12 and 20 minutes -- then 7 total in the last three.

Could DeAndre Jordan be more than a waste of space for just a handful of minutes?

DJ was signed because KD and Kyrie liked him. That was a terrible contract.

Wait, Aaron Rupar said it was an epic, legendary game. Who am I to argue with Mr. Video Rip?

Just for context, though, the Bucks' bench was 3 for 5 shooting and that was all just Connaughton. But he did have 9 points and 4 rebounds and played 23:20. Got nothing from two other bench players. Forbes, who seemed to be a key player in previous games shooting 3s, played just 5:21 and attempted no shots. Giannis' brother had one rebound and played 51 seconds.

Assists are a worthless stat if Simmons has 11 right now.

He’s playing like garbage on offense. Hockey isn’t as liberal with their assists as the Philly score keeper.

I'm a Boston fan, so Simmons reminds me of Rondo at times, from how defenses sag so far off of him to avoiding contact so that he doesn't have to shoot free throws. I realize Rondo - as time went on - had some decent playoff games, but through four years their win shares and PER are pretty similar. They're also so god damn frustrating because their inability to consistently hit free throws and open jumpers is the difference between them being all-star level players and liabilities in the playoffs, vs. all-NBA players that the rest of their skill set suggests.
