Shrug. It was on a clickbait site. That thing might be twenty years old.

I worked with a woman who couldn't take any noise. Not sure why she picked working in a newsroom as a career. She'd freak out if the microwave beeped and scolded me once for blowing my nose too loudly. I made sure to jiggle my keys and stomp my feet whenever I passed her desk.

Worked with a SE like that. He would get angry and huff and puff if people were loud. That just made us be louder and he would hop up and down in his chair and eventually leave the room.
    Then we would all laugh.

Makes me wonder how such people drive to work.

Listening for noises is a key to defensive driving and awareness of the health of your vehicle too.

The world is probably a far noisier place for most people than it was 200 years ago.

Is the father supposed to be Mario Cuomo? It's funnier if it is.

I would have loved something like that as a kid. Could have played catch with myself all day long (and I would have, at one point). Instead I made do with throwing a tennis ball off of my neighbor's two-story cinder block garage, that's how I learned to go back on a ball.

It didn't take much to entertain me in the days of 3-channel TV and no Internet or video games. I suspect that's also true for many of us over-60 types on this board.
