Everything you need to know about how badly miscalibrated “moderate” is in SBC circles.

My goodness what dumb-dumbs. Seriously, at a time when a Catholic President could serve as a "selling point" for the Church, these guys find a way to muck it up. Really a misguided notion. Worth noting, when Ireland decided to legalize abortion, the bishops there stayed out of the debate. Waiting for their thoughts on giving communion to politicians who sign off on executions, or judges who are OK with charging interest on loans. Remember when people feared electing Kennedy would mean the US would be "ruled from the Vatican?"

If they deny communion to Biden and other politicians with pro-choice views, they have to deny communion to Catholics who vote pro-choice, too. If the bishops are going to play "which side are you on," they have to do it for everyone in the pews.

The communion line would get awfully short.

Past time for politics-meddling churches to pay taxes.

Story doesn’t say one way or another whether any priests/clerics of any order were involved. This one is begging for updates.

It was for dead trees, so I doubt it.

Unfortunately, that story didn't get to the root of the problem.
