Muh Muh Muh My Corona (virus)

In Florida old people are the voting constituency, they know they swing elections and they will belch out their opinions at will. I believe this is very much a Florida thing.

 

Combine this with an inept State Legislature and this is a crazy mix.

 

I look at Trumpers and anti-vaxxers almost like gangs in the 80s and 90s.

Gangs would bring people in and give them a place where they were accepted and treated with respect and given some importance. There would be other people in the gangs that shared the same thoughts and views. It’s just that drugs and crime were the ploy. We have shit and our lives suck, you we will take from those who have things.

What the internet and Facebook most importantly did was connect those who have less than others, are less educated, are looked down upon, whose life is shitty due to whatever reasons and found a lightening rod in Trump. Whatever he babbled was thought as scripture. And the more we find out, as I was told over a year ago, there is no floor to his stupidity. Bleach… His behind closed doors suggestions are starting to come out, and they are bleach level.

This is what they want. Don’t get the vaccine. Drive up the case count. Compel restrictions. Then protest the restrictions that you created. Grievance.

 

At this point, I think people who're unvaccinated with a good medical excuse (immunocompromised, etc.) should start facing penalties. No plane, train or bus travel. Company can fire you for noncompliance. And above all, no entry into the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Go die somewhere else on your own time.

My 7-year-old tested positive yesterday. A week ago, her summer school called and said to come get her because she had close contact with someone at school who had the Covid. I don't know whether it was a teacher, staff or student in her class. Luckily she isn't showing any symptoms, but, fuck. She has some underlying medical conditions that worry me with the positive diagnosis.
