Great main event with Sammy and MJF, and great highlight video about the "Daily's Place Era."

But another swing and a miss for JR, who said at the end "Nothing like a live WWE Dynamite."

AEW did their final show at Daily’s Place and did a great tribute video at the end. Then JR botched and said there was nothing like seeing a WWE Dynamite on the road. Whoops.

Yeah, no Rougeau brothers either. They had a really good run for about five years, even if they never won the titles.

The artist soon-to-be-formerly known as Fandango made a good quip before the highlight package of non-WWF/E teams when he was hyping the American Males to their epic theme, and Breeze quickly made it knows "yeah, but no."

New Days not always my cup of tea, I dont really care for the pancake and BootyOs stuff.

but those guys have bangers with everybody, from Kidd and Cesaro almost 10 years to every team in the word since. Hardys. Usos. Bludgeon Bros. Revival. War machine. Literally a whose who.

Based on that and their merch sales its hard to argue anyone else. Maybe the Hardys.

Imagine if they went with their earliest form, when Woods came out as the straight man trying to convince Kofi and E (then a non-descript tag team) to stop shaking hands and kissing babies.

Can't hate on them for hustling. Kofi was having a career as a mid-carder, and E had some singles success after teaming with Ziggler and AJ Lee, but Woods was seconding Truth and stealing Brodus Clay's gimmick. Now, he's one of WWE's top talents and a first-ballot HOFer.

Even after the goofy stuff started New Day were heels for a bit, I remember them beating down Cena to end a few Raws. Its a great study in “just give it time see where it goes” from a fan perspective.

From a wrestler perspective, its “sell so many shirts they let you do whatever you want” lol

I saw them on a show right around when they were about to turn heel, and I thought it was kinda weird that the crowd was chanting "New ... Day ... Sucks!" Turns out that was one of the smartest heel turns in WWE history.

In a way, pre-heel New Day is the equipment to Rocky Maivia.

Terrific match even if I wasn't crazy about the ending.

And there's no doubt JR has lost a step or two on the mic but it's a step or two most guys never had it begin with. I always enjoy it when Jericho works commentary. That Daily's Place video was really good, so many great matches there.
