Is THIS the best thread ever in the history of message boards? Frederick says not so fast. You won’t want to miss this debate, stay tuned but first it’s the Genesis Halftime Show brought to you by The Suits

I thought Greenburg and Golic was a decent show. Admittedly both hosts were vanilla but If you are the ESPN morning host you will always be able to attract plenty of good guests. I think a vanilla host with a good guest is better than a hot take guy.

One good thing about M&M was the lack of titty jokes or other juvenile smut. Don't need that on my morning drive.

On one hand, Taylor almost certainly isn't worth $8M or $5M to me - she's a host and a sideline reporter for a variety of ESPN programs. That being said, if you're even thinking about giving her $5M, probably wouldn't have hurt to see if she could anchor a show herself, or do some play by play. You know, if that thought ever entered their head. It wouldn't surprise me if she left ESPN and became a big deal - or not - but she seems like the sort of young talent you keep and give some chances to, if you're cutting the Golics, Wingos and Everetts.

Would GMA still be a possibility if the ESPN relationship sours?

Perhaps NBC does what it does best. Take a rival threat and neutralize him/her.

Pay her for Today. Shift her to Later Today. She leaves damaged goods.
