It is a relevant news article, but I personally would not have assigned it. And if I were the reporter assigned to write, I would be none too pleased.

So, I do understand why Mickelson is upset and I do think he has every right to chew out the paper if he so chooses. But boycotting an entire tournament because of it? That’s only punishing the fans. That’s bush league. He probably wanted an “out” to avoid going to this event in the future, so he conveniently found it.
