That's what Zombie Deadspin is all about. They're not even attempting humor anymore. Instead, it's all about airing grievances, real or otherwise.

That was some ugly offense, The whole game. Bucks consistently miss Lopez on roll. Guy could hit 20 every game if the passed to him.

And they took away the comments on Zombie Deadspin proper, so no one calls them out on their stupid nonsense.

 

I'm kind of surprised they still haven't reinstated them. At least for AV Club and Kotaku, plenty of the hits generated seem to be from people commenting. In other "Owners Can't Handle the Heat" news, Cracked.com disabled even *reading* comments unless you create an account there, which has clearly caused their comment numbers to collapse.

 

Probably because every Deadspin comment would be something along the lines of "Fuck you, you bunch of fucking scabs." Even if commenters weren't predisposed toward that type of comment, former Deadspin writers would just unleash their fans on the Zombie site. Because they're all children.
