Welp I guess we’re getting a 5th game. How the heck did that just happen

 

Considering Amalie Arena's original name was the Ice Palace, maybe Elsa is what makes Tampa a 'traditional hockey market.'

 

For all the problems the Rays have drawing fans with a winning team it’s the opposite for the Lightning, who enjoy a healthy fan base

 

Since 1980, every Stanley Cup Final has featured at least one of Jaromir Jagr's teammates.

 

Are they even thinking of keeping the teams in Montreal for Game 5 (giving the Lightning last line change, of course), or blindly flying into the storm? I imagine, though, all other NHL arenas have let the ice melt for the summer and I don't know how long it would take to remake it.

 

Answering my own question ...

 

The statement is correct, but the list may not be. Specifically, 2013 (Carcillo). I don’t know that Carcillo ever played with Jagr but it doesn’t really matter because in 2013 Jagr himself was in the Final.

 

What do you even do when they execute a pass that pure? Sheesh.

 

Buy them dinner and make sweet love to them by the fire.

 

Yet Lou will do a wonder job patching up stuff on the Island, and Barry Trotz will continue to get more out of what he has than just about anyone else.

Tampa's last two opponents - probably soon to be three - were worthy opponents. But the Lightning is just deeper, more talented and better. Pardon the highly technical analysis, but usually the deeper, more talented and better team wins.

 

Applaud, admit they're better, hope they get old fast and hope that some UFAs take big-money deals because Tampa can't pay all of them.

This team is just good. Period.
