Rowdy Gaines' screams are going to be bouncing off the walls at the Olympic pool.

Never thought I'd say it, but I think I'm glad I'm not covering the Olympics this cycle. This shitshow, then Beijing in 7 months?

Hang around, though, and you get Paris/Milan in the next turn, which would more than make up for it.

A person who'd been to both in the distant past compared Milan to Harrison, New Jersey.

    It ain't Rome.

Ha, fair enough! I’ve never been to Milan.

I’d bet it’s not Sochi or Pyeongchang, either, though. They weren’t bad and were definitely, uh, unique, but they weren’t Val di Fiemme and the Italian Alps.

Maybe if they bang the Tokyo Olympics, the world will catch on to the financial stupidity surrounding the whole event that is an Olympic Games in the first place...

    Maybe not.

It’s falling apart because they let the athletes do endorsement deals.
