Any Montana newspapers bring up old gambling issues?

Phil might never play a made-for-TV golf event in the state again ...

The only star from last night's event was the golf course.

Tiger/Manning and Phil/Brady were OK in spring 2020, when we were desperate for something on teevee (and Tiger hadn't crashed yet). But this thing is tired now. And yeah, WTF with it being six hours?

I already knew I wanted to get to Montana, but this only strengthened that desire. Although I think I’d play terribly and get vertigo hitting a ball with that backdrop.

Well, I liked Slazenger until I found out Oddjob could crush one like an egg with his bare hand.

I wonder if that's mental. I don't say this to troll, but the swing for a fairway wood vs. a long or middle iron isn't different.

It is mental, and I have the same issue. It's why sometimes I'll use a choked up knockdown hybrid in a situation that might call for a 9 or a wedge. The point of impact is a little different and the hybrid swing is a bit more forgiving, especially if you get too far behind the ball. The problem being, of course, that it's tough to stop that hybrid--no matter how knocked down--near the hole like you can a wedge, simply because it won't get the same loft. Such is the life of a high handicapper. My lesson schedule took a massive hit mostly because I've spent the last four weeks on the road covering events. Looking forward to duffing it around on Sunday after a good range sesh tomorrow.
