    Bowie. Consideration given to both Madonna and The Cars, mostly because I have never seen either live.

    U2 and The Pogues in a very slight edge over Bowie. I've seen U2 six times but never saw the on the original Joshua Tree tour, and I never saw The Pogues.

    Saw Bowie in '83 and it was a much better tour than '87.

    Yes, but I wasn't offered my choice of which tour by a musician on that list I would have preferred. I'd have gone "Ziggy Stardust" in a hot second.

    I’d love to see Beastie Boys again, but their best work was well after 1987. U2 is a great show in any era.
