I was going to ask how bad he was to get canned in the middle of the season.

At least we know longevity won't be getting him into the hall of fame.

Whoever gives him any time of day shows their level of ignorance. Pretty simple graph.

Ohtani is the best BASEBALL player right now, that's all that matters.

The whole "he needs an interpreter" line would be called racism in another situation or, short of that, highly insensitive.

Don't follow the NBA real closely, but I'm almost getting to the point that his takes on hoops are ignorable.
His opinion on baseball matters has never been worth my consideration.

Not comparing him to Vin Scully or anything, but listening to the Angels broadcasts this year made me appreciate Victor Rojas a little more. He could get a little goofy with Gubicza at times, but he generally was pretty professional and objective and when the Angels did something he would act excited but not overly so (like Vasgersian tends to do).
Plus, you didn't hear Rojas recite newfangled stats like exit velocity and spin rate over and over again, although to be fair I think I had read that the stats thing was a directive from the new Bally Sports networks when Sinclair took over the Fox Sports regional networks.

Darren Baker drafted by the Nationals today. THE Darren Baker. I, for one, did not need to be reminded how old I am.

    EDIT: Adds tweet from Nats.

Hey, Stephen A.? Remember about 40 years ago when these two guys totally killed baseball's popularity in L.A.?

Have I mentioned lately how much I don’t miss that bellowing, balding fog horn yelling “braaack, braaaack, braaack!” During this event?
