    I'm from the southern part of the state. It's Cal or California. Berkeley is not the vernacular. But, yes, it's the 10, the 60, the f***ing 91, the 210, etc.

    NO ONE calls it Cal State Chico except East Coast Dan Hicks. See above. It's not Cal State San Diego, which is SDSU.

    NBCs coverage is so bland and boring.....
    Hicks is brutal. Azinger is bad, but paired with Hicks is just awful.

    IMO Feherty, Koch and MacKay are very strong. Begay is passable. Why didn't they use Jacobson more?

    How quickly we forget about Fox’s coverage on the US Open for five years. I’ll take the boring coverage over Whatever they were trying to accomplish with that dog and pony show.

    After a rough debut at Chambers with Norman, I thought Fox did a pretty good job. They used more tech features like shot tracer and drones than anyone else, and I thought Hanse and Faxon were good additions. I think they were judged harshly for a bad debut, made worse by a challenging broadcast venue.

    if I never heard from Azinger or Jake again I would be just fine.

    Unless things have changed, people in New York and New England would almost invariably say Berkeley unless they were talking sports.

    UCLA is the only school that should go by its initials
    USC? That’s South Carolina in SEC country
    LSU is OK but why not do Louisiana State on first reference
    Same with Texas Christian
    As for Johnny come latelys like UCF and USF, GTFO

    Fox was different, which in itself was unforgivable in some golf circles, but I agree I thought they did well. But I also like Joe Buck, which seems to put me in the minority.
