As for calling it the 2020 Olympics, well, the Big Ten has 14 teams and the Big 12 has 10, so there’s that

That's just in Japan, right? No such luck for us here in the States.

Cross one off the "weird Japan" story budget for lazy Western journalists.

Yeah, who is available who would have been better? Anthony Davis and Miles Turner are injured. Ayton, Embiid and Siakam are tied to different countries. Julius Randle should be on the team, but wouldn't solve the rim protection issue.

The real issue is letting Towns get away to the DR and Sabonis get away to Lithuania in previous cycles. Was Coach K actively trying to run off all the promising young American bigs?

I had said that I wasn't going to watch one minute of the Olympics but now it's starting to have train-wreck appeal. I want to see an athlete finish a game and be told immediately after leaving the field that they have tested positive, like what the PGA Tour did to Rahm at the Memorial. And then have NBC immediately switch to the couch cam for the family reaction.

It sounds like an alternate but she was in Japan when she tested positive
