I went to dozens and dozens of Bucks games during my college years of the late 90s.

Many $5 ticket nights in the upper bowl of the Bradley Center with about 8000 of my closest friends.

    Lee Mayberry
    Todd Day
    Benoit Benjamin
    Marty Conlon
    Eric Murdock
    Sherman Douglas
    Socks Perry
    Vinny Del Negro
    Robert Traylor
    etc.

... and yes, Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson, which eventually led to the small window of 1999-2001 seasons of hope. Then another decade or so of wasted opportunities, ineptitude, and the constant threat of relocation.

I never thought I would see the day where the Bucks would host a closeout NBA Finals game with about 100,000 expected inside and outside the arena.

I'm just going try to enjoy the experience and not to prepare for the kick in the junk Wisconsin sports fans have been absorbing for the past 10 years whenever teams get close to a championship.

Going to be a long night for the Suns if they can't keep Milwaukee out of transition. The Suns could get away with the size disadvantage on the boards against the Lakers because L.A. had slow, lumbering bigs like Drummond and Gasol that they could just go around. Not the case with Milwaukee, which has just been murdering Phoenix on the glass. This has been an enjoyable (and unexpected) ride but I suspect it comes to an end tonight.

My all-time favorite nickname for a Milwaukee Buck (and there were many, thanks to Eddie Doucette): "Tractor" Traylor. Too bad he lived such a short, troubled life.

I loved Big Dog at Purdue and thought he was going to own the league forever. He had an OK career in Milwaukee.

There's no way Paul loses his 13th straight playoff game when the above ref works tonight's game, right?

I almost have to lay down a hundred bucks on the Suns just because of that.

And really, how the hell did Purdue not win the title with Robinson and Cuonzo?

And to wrap up this little Bucks burst ... always a good time to bust out Scotty Skiles.

Mokeski looks younger now at 64 than he did then.

I loved watching Lakers games at the Mecca, which was the coolest court back then not named the Forum or Boston Garden.
