Multitasking fields is smart but hitting a ball through the infield turf to the outfield dirt is an odd look

 

I think they said it's all turf. The part that doesn't make sense is most Japanese baseball fields are fully dirt infields. If they go with brown turf from wall to wall, or just throughout the baseball infield, it looks kind of normal and a lot fewer people accuse them of sexism.

 

If there was ever a good time for the benches to start chanting, it would be at a spectatorless softball game.
