    Multitasking fields is smart but hitting a ball through the infield turf to the outfield dirt is an odd look

    I think they said it's all turf. The part that doesn't make sense is most Japanese baseball fields are fully dirt infields. If they go with brown turf from wall to wall, or just throughout the baseball infield, it looks kind of normal and a lot fewer people accuse them of sexism.

    I will never understand why these athletes, forced to wait a year because of the pandemic, didn't get vaccinated*. (Unless it's a breakthrough case. However, given his brother's assertion he should be able to play anyway, they seem like anti-vax)
