Everything is awesome and people still complain.

I have not bought a DVD, rewound a movie, had a late fee, had a scratched disc in at least five years.

I have so many movies on demand that I don’t even know where to start, but people are complaining about having to pay extra for a mega release?

    WTF

And you are paying a fraction of the theater cost.

    WTF

It isn't a fraction of theater cost, depending on where you live and how many people will see it, but I get what you are saying.

I do certainly enjoy having way too much to watch even though I'll never get through it all.

I think it was $41 for my daughter and I to see a Friday afternoon IMAX of BW.

With snacks ... it was $27 for my son and I at the theater. So I saved $3 going out. :)

My wife and I went and saw it on Tuesday and it was a discount night so we paid $28 for two tickets, popcorn and drink. Would have been over almost any other time. And definitely would have been if we brought any kids with us.

We've thought about getting the Disney+ access so the kids could watch and we could again whenever. It would basically make it a wash if we had taken a couple kids. We haven't done it yet though.

No Loki finale talk yet? I kind of hated the ending because it didn’t allow the series to stand on its own. It was ultimately just an intro to Phase 4. As a self-contained story, it kind of sucked.

That said, it serves the greater universe well and I enjoyed the ride. Some of the subtleties were really well done, such as each episode representing each of the Infinity Stones. And the connection with WandaVision, well, that’s just damn incredible.

At the moment it was my favorite of the three series. And I absolutely loved Wanda Vision. It add so much, never knew what was going to happen or the next steps or who was real or true or if there even was a reality, lots of interesting Easter eggs, fun characters. I don't mind the open ended finish because we know we are going to get more of it. The other series were very enjoyable, but we know we likely won't get more of those. Tying more into other MCU things and setting up Phase 4 just makes it better.

I actually thought the ending was fine - The "bad guy" won in a way. Loki has obviously changed, but Sylvie (understandably) hadn't enough, which is why she did what she did. Now, the repercussions will be dealt with in the Dr. Strange movie, as well as Loki season two and Ant-Man 3, depending on when they respectively come out.

We may see them sooner than that. All those branches are what will make the upcoming animated What If? series possible. The first episode of that is due Aug. 11. I've read that it isn't just a series of one-shot stories. There will be a larger, connected narrative, possibly with a team of heroes coming together to try to help fix reality. That narrative will include Captain Carter, a version of Peggy Carter who received the super-soldier treatment instead of Steve Rogers in her reality. Hayley Atwell will be providing the voice for the character, who has been prominent in the trailers for the show. Last week, there were reports that she will also portray Captain Carter in Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Multiversal shenanigans are also expected to be a big part of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Wasn't that the premise of one of the X-Men books? I'm totally drawing a blank on the title, but they had a bunch of different X-Men pulled from various alternate realities hopping around to other realities.

I mean, it's the premise of a LOT of comic book stuff, ha. Usually when a character dies, it's less that they're revived a la Frankenstein's monster, and more that a "new" version from another multiverse manages to get booped over.
