At 36 and injured. Jesus Christ.

He was their leading scorer and shot over 50% in game six. Was shaky in earlier games.

The Suns had a few issues that hurt them. It’s fair to say Paul probably cost them game four. The biggest problem, though, is that Milwaukee is a better team and Giannis had one of the great playoff performances of all time.

Okay, turn it around. Which team did he lift in the playoffs?

He was good in the Clippers series this year. I guess he wasn't injured 3 weeks ago.

And yeah, this too. Torn ligaments in a hand are kind of tough for a point guard to deal with.

Milwaukee took away the 3 point shooting, which killed the bucks in games 1 and 2. So they gave Paul his shots last night, and he hit over 50%. He had zero defensive responsibilities. He still had a negative plus minus.

I don't think Paul is a terrible player. I've never been really impressed by him as an all timer.

Yeah, don’t know what to tell you on that one. He’s a no-question hall of famer and one of the greatest point guards of all time.

The Suns went from missing the playoffs to making the NBA finals and he was the only really significant change.

In the era of three-pointers, the dominant player of the NBA Finals made one every other game.

Paul is top-10, not top 5.

Not sure. He’s behind Magic and Oscar Robertson, and probably Steph, but that one’s a tough comparison.

I’ll probably go Isiah Thomas next. Then there’s Chris Paul and John Stockton, which is close to a tossup but fuck John Stockton, so I’ll go Chris Paul 5th.

Bob Cousy is in this discussion but I’m not qualified to say where.

Point guard is a weird position.

Who played PG for the 90s Bulls? Who plays PG for the current Blazers? Who played PG for the Heat or LeBron’s teams?
