And paying more than they make for that. Organization should step up.

It’s been discussed but at the time the dogs were still racing.

Great win by the Giants tonight after last night’s gut-punch.

Those waiting for the Giants to fold are gonna be severly disappointed. I keep being reminded of Bochy's teams in the 2010s. New hero every night, someone goes down, next man up. And they're pesky enough to keep opposing teams on edge until the last out is made.

What’s crazy is the Padres with their line up are third in the division. They would lead the NL East and world be a half game back of the Brewers in the Central. But they are a full six up for the second wild card.

All that said, Giants are 11.5 up for a playoff spot. Even if the Dodgers run them down, and they could, Giants are in great position to get in and do damage. If I’m be Central and the East, I’m thanking my stars the West is going to eliminate itself heading into the NLCS.

Now, finish them tomorrow and take three of four, G-men!

Mo Vaughn vs. Livan Hernandez. Good matchup unless Zombie Eric Gregg is behind the dish.

They did a lot of it without Mike Yazstremski, who was hampered by injury much of the first half. He came around just in time with Posey missing some time and now Crawford in the IL. Seriously, what got into those two? Posey looks like his old self and Crawford, at 34, is on pace for career highs in just about every offensive category. Even if he really is only out 10-to-14 days, an injured oblique is probably trouble, but I do wonder what clicked.

Bought tickets for an upcoming A's game - and yeah, it's been a while since I've been to an MLB game, but $33 tickets for bleachers? Throw in another $12.50 in ticket fees - and I don't even get actual paper tickets? It's the Padres, so maybe all MLB teams are using that "dynamic pricing" - but dang.

Posey had hip problems that he said got better but I don’t think it ever did until he took 2020 off. Best thing to happen to his career were his twins that he wanted to keep safe from covid. The year off got him right.

Craw along with the rest of the Giants are thriving under Farhan and Kapler’s system. Boche was great but sometimes you need something new. Plus he’s in a walk year.

That’s messed up. Did you go through Stubhub?

Wife got me Giants tickets through there but they sold her tickets that weren’t actually for sale (they were held back for social distancing). We went through the team’s website and we paid a third of what Stubhub wanted.
