    Name isn’t bad, but that font and logo are shit.

    I would have gone back to Spiders, personally.

    There were a couple of prominent images of the statues carved into that bridge in the video. Is that where the name comes from? Are those “Guardians?”

    Name is fine. Logo/font looks like something from a Japanese SNES game. I look forward to Sleve McDichael suiting up for the Guardians.

    Yes, there are four very large statues on the bridge that leads across the Cuyahoga to the stadium. They are called the Guardians of Traffic.

    The video does a good job of connecting the idea of Guardians to the city. Marketing!

    So what's the shorthand/ headlinese for Guardians?

    G's? The G-Men? (Gendered and also already in use by the Football Giants)

    My favorite part was using the music of a band that moved from Akron to Nashville.
