Cost-saving move IMO. Just tear off the 'IN' on the jerseys and sew on 'GUAR.'
    LOL

I love the line about we are fire and water.... Yes because the Cuyahoga River burned endlessly and spawned the creation of the EPA.

I'm surprised to see this. The Yankees almost always have $10 tickets available, so even with a big family, and the fees, it's not too bad. I'm usually able to find street parking too.

Cleveland still has enough people for traffic?

Cleveland did a pretty good job of keeping a lid on the name change; obviously between shooting videos and designing promo logos the decision was made some time ago.

    Re: Guardians.

I preferred Spiders, and in recent days (with Blues mentioned as another possibility), I thought Blue Sox might actually be a cool choice, but I've seen much worse choices for a nickname. Give it time and people will be used to it.
And like Starman, my first thought was what the shorthand name would be for headlines (although how long are fitting something in headlines going to be a consideration). I'm guessing G's since the letter is prominent in the logo, and G-Men is already taken, as Starman pointed out.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see the marketing department come up with caps like that, with wings attached to the sides, to sell at the souvenir stands next year.

They can be like Howard Johnson's in the 80s when they sold hot fudge sundaes in mini MLB helmets.

First time there's a losing streak:

    "Aw, G's!"

The Guardians? I didn’t know they still had a team?
