My game with Guy may not look that close in the overall score, but it has been wild. Four categories flipped today, including home runs thanks to him getting three from Winker and two from Wisdom. (Seriously, where the hell did this Wisdom guy come from? I've got him in my money league, but damn.) I also caught him in saves because the Brewers chose not to use Hader, who had pitched two of the last three days. (I'm hoping that all it is, again for the sake of my money league team.)

Somehow I have battled up to third.

Looks like showing up late for the draft might work out for Pern after all. Acuna is done for the year, and most likely my title hopes with him. His production has just been ridiculous, and it covered up a lot of flaws in my team.

It only applies to a few teams. Yours wasn't one of them.

Looks like my overall assessment wasn't that far off. Turned out that I did have a team that was .500 entering the last week and ended up a few games over (Sorry, Guy). Segura filled the monster hole at second base adequately after I cut Villar, then ended up picking him back up a few weeks ago. Turned out Villar had a nice season. Arozarena had a pretty nice year, and a really good second half. All four of my young pitchers crapped out, with MacKenzie Gore ending up down at Low-A again. Once I got rid of them, my team got better. I moved up from 10th place last year to eighth. Glacial progress, but progress.

I thank you for helping me sneak back into first place, though I'm not sure seeding really matters for those who made the playoffs. I've got Ray of Hope in the first round while Sterling Silver plays Porky Puig.

My team now really isn't the one that was in first place most of the season. I've just been hanging on since losing Acuna, so even as the top seed, I don't see my team as the favorite.

My pitching was pretty solid all season but I was always looking to plug holes offensively. Sigh, looking ahead to next season.

No comment on the games until they go final, but I did want to point out that the tiebreaker in the postseason goes to the higher seed. I wasn't sure if everybody was aware. I had to double-check it myself. That means Sterling Silver and Tampico Stogies would win the tiebreakers this week.
