The only thing I addressed was your use of "the Bible."

Question: what were Jesus' last words before death on the cross?

Is there a first hand, contemporaneous account of the crucifixion ?

"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." (Or some version of that, depending on your translation.)

I thought Jesus' final words were "It is finished."

Nope. His last words were "YOLO JK BRB"

Nope. His last words were "Peter! I can see your house from here!".

I don't think so. The apostles scattered like scared rabbits and if Mary of Magdala wrote anything, it was probably roundfiled at Nicea.

This morning, the Dean of Canterbury made the observation that the gospels differ due to the fallibility and diversity of human memory.

    They’re remarkably similar.

    Three of them are.

Fair. The fourth one is dissimilar. Not in a way that cancels out the other three, though. It looks along the beam of light, rather than at it.

Wait until they hear about what Jesus said in the Gospels …
