Whoever taught Gio to speak in cliches deserves a raise.

MLB is using really cool new field level camera angles to show highlights.

They give you a whole new look at the game. I love it.

Giants and Dodgers picking up in San Francisco where they left off in LA last week. Little League throwing error lets go-ahead run score for Giants in the eighth.

Well, nice debut in Seattle for Toto, I'll say that. Two-run pinch-hit bomb.

Paul Sewald has been shockingly great. He'll probably close. Until he gets overexposed like he did for 27 straight years in New York.

Took a pretty bad beat thanks to that hit. First two parts of a parlay hit, had the Twins ML to finish it and they lead 5-1 in the top of the ninth and choke it. Ugh.

Seattle Mariners players feel 'betrayed' after Kendall Graveman traded to Astros, per report

The players don't seem to be buying it.

As you suggested, there really isn't much on Sewald's resume to inspire confidence that he can maintain his current pace. Then again, the same is true of Graverman.

Graveman was trash until about two months ago. Players are and have always been dunderheads.

Graverman has been excellent all season. He didn't give up a run in his first 14 appearances this season. Some guys can't cut it as starters, but turn out to be damn good relief pitchers. He didn't really make that switch full-time until this year. That said, yes, his success this season is a small enough sample size to be a mirage.
