Jansen's meltdown last week, now Bellinger making a Little League throwing error ... the Giants are living rent-free in the Dodgers' heads.

 

Marlins will get Jesus Luzardo from Oakland. Don't know what's more shocking here, trading Luzardo or the A's being buyers at the deadline.

 

I don't know why people are fighting on a message board, I'd never do that.

I'd bet on Scherzer being really damn good until he's at least 40. He's a right-handed Randy Johnson.

As for the Nats' locker room, that's an interesting question. They have/had some real Trumpian winners there like Turner, Corbin, Zimmerman and Suzuki, and then dudes like Scherzer, who are intelligent and pro-vaxx and have actually opened a textbook at some point in their lives. It'd be real interesting to someday know how the pandemic has impacted locker rooms. (Of course, we'll never get in locker rooms again, so...) It's one thing to come together and put aside differences in normal-ish times, quite another to do it now.

 

Man, Luzardo looked like an up and coming pure stud in '19.
