Damn. Nikki is dead in the water. The cash-in was fun, but nobody gives a shit about the superhero stuff.

There was more celebration when Charlotte won, and crickets for Nikki.

 

I don’t expect Nikki to be a long-term champion or even a main eventer. I’m thinking she’ll likely drop the belt in less than at month at SummerFest, and with the triple threat, likely not even get pinned, and then hang around the midcard for a while.

But considering she was probably on the verge of being future endeavored and came up with the superhero gimmick herself, she can be proud of getting a short title reign, some nice merchandise royalties, and probably at least another year or two in the biggest wrestling company in the US.

 

Nikki’s not going anywhere, champion or not she’ll be a Make A Wish ambassador for life with this gimmick.

That said what an awful episode of Raw. Forgot there was even a live crowd, they did so little to use its energy. Bad bad bad bad bad

 

Have Nikki do a Mick Foley multiple identity thing, go from the super hero gimmick to the darker Let Nikki Play identity after Charlotte pushes and embarrasses her for a couple weeks.

 

I like this idea. Maybe get her ex-best friend Alexa to push out her dark side again. They could go for the women's tag titles.

 

Darby Allin challenging the "best in the world" in Chicago? Either AEW is trolling the hell of its crowd, or there's some validation to the Punk hullabaloo.

It's 2021, and we've got Tony Schiavone, Sting, Chris Jericho, Konnan and Meng on a TNT wrestling show. Can't wait for the main event, in the heat of Jericho/Gage, and Schiavone says WE'RE OUTTA TIME!
