Really? We should fear an almost 50-year-old Juventud Guerrera?

MJF and Schiavone had a fun exchange about why the objects were under the ring.

The spinning shoulder/elbow is the Judas Effect, which is his latest finisher. I agree that it’s weird to be a finisher.

    It’s interesting as a one-off, but that’s all.

He was damn good in WCW.

Yeah, I know the spinning back elbow is his finisher. But he didn't hit it. I don't even think he raised his elbow more than 45 degrees from his shoulder and hit Gage with his shoulder blade. I thought it was a botch.

I missed where apparently, during the New Orleans jazz band's rendition for Starks, JR said there's no place for trombones in wrestling.

    The rebuttal:

Is it just me, or does AEW overdo it with the number of hardcore/no holds barred/death matches that they do? Seems like at least half their matches are of that variety.

In consecutive matches, Nick Gage has lost to Matt Cardona and Chris Jericho -- two of the least "deathmatchy" guys out there.

What's he gotta do to get his heat back -- straight up disembowel a guy?

Yeah, seems like it. Of course, I think that's part of their way to differentiate their product from WWE. The WWE still bans juicing, right?

I completely missed this in real time.

Seems like the antithesis of everything they’ve built over there for 18 months BUT…..

is it possible Hangman gets mothball’d again so Kenny can go over and feud with/drop the belts to Daniel Bryan instead?

Could be it. But at the same time it occasionally feels like I've tuned in to a rerun of ECW circa 1996.
