I would take that very seriously, given the things that have gone on in Belarus in recent months.

I'm gonna guess there are a lot more events this Sunday than in 1988.
So these kind of stats are stupid.

Anyone know when the men's 100 meter track is on tv? Was it this morning? Tonight?

I'm certain NBC will have it in the primetime show tonight. I won't provide spoilers.

I watched it live at 8:50 am on CBC. I’m sure it’s not that simple on NBC.

San Marino, with a population of around 30,000, has a silver and bronze medal so far.

India, with a population of around 1.366 billion, has a silver and bronze medal so far.

I dvr'd everthing on every channel. But nothing this morning mentioned 100 meters in the description.

Who the fuck cares what a severely stupid nobody without accomplishment says? 200,000 heroin addicts standing outside 7-11’s all over the country whose opinions are as valid and informed as his.

They probably streamed it. They've done that with some bigger events that they want to save. We still have Comcast, so we can search it and get it right to our TV, but it is ridiculous.

NBC has made some steps in how they show the Olympics -- remember when they had the Vancouver hockey games tape delayed in the same freaking time zone the games were played (and I know that's not even the worst of the crap they've pulled) -- but they still have to adjust to, you know, the internet and people knowing things instantly. Put the things on live on a channel people can find and then cut and paste for your prime time show as needed.

Does it really cost them that much in viewership and money? I don't think anyone even tries to not find out any more and most other outlets don't keep it a secret anyway.

Whether I see Tirico on golf, or NFL or the Olympics, i can't unsee what I read about that creep in the espn book.
I can't stand looking at him.

Tirico's TV persona is so at odds with the accusations in that book that I find him irresistibly comic. Not just a creep, a particularly pathetic one.
