Every time he's on TV I turn to my wife and point out what a rich, deep tan that Italian man has.

I know nothing about gymnastics, but was that vault final a factory of sadness? Skinner seems like she botched both of her vaults - and got a silver. What am i missing?

Beach volleyball is the frigging yule log of NBC olympic tv. It is on all the time.
They've been going since day 1 and we are still at the round of 16.
    It never ends.

Do people really want to see Mike Tirico talk to Michael Phelps? Show sports. There are tons of events, show boxing, not 30 seconds of highlights with some one taking over it.

The skills they do in the air are so difficult they can’t consistently land the vaults anymore. Outside of Biles I don’t enjoy gymnastics in the last 8 years; I feel like I’m watching 80% execution instead of 100%.

It definitely seems sloppier. I thought the womsn from Brazil was the best gymnast not named Biles.

NBC continues to produce and present the Olympics like it's 1988 in Seoul and 2000 in Sydney.

The dudes agreeing to a tie for the high jump gold was pretty awesome.

Given that face and those credentials (Harvard degree), someone at NBC should be fired for the fact that I haven't heard of Gabby Thomas until a half hour ago.

You know, it's on multiple channels. I've seen boxing matches, handball games, field hockey, indoor volleyball, equestrian and a bunch more.
