You have to wonder how much Brodie’s death is still affecting him.

How many guys have been BOTH world and universal champion? Like 4? (Bray, Rollins, Reigns, Lesanr? Thats it? Maybe fucking goldberg?)

And they released one of them? Thats batshit crazy.

Not Goldberg ... yet. Unless they job out Lashley to him for the red belt.

If all the Punk/Bryan talk isn't enough, now there's rumors that Flair asked for and was granted his release from WWE, and Adam Cole's contract ran out and he's working on a per-date agreement.

Would love to see Cole and Britt as the alpha couple in AEW (and he's got lots of backstory with the Elite/Club guys), and Flair reuniting with Arn, Tully, Sting and Paul Wight for some occasional spots would make sense, too.

Orton and Bryan held the belts at the same time.

The universal? To be technical, they've never won that belt, which began with Finn Balor (the match vs. Seth when he blew his shoulder).

Bryan and Orton have won the WWE championship (the company's main belt and the one currently held by Lashley) and the world championship (the big gold belt), which was folded into the WWE championship.

    Eh, you’re probably right.

Shows how much I follow this whole thing.

All these defections, maybe it'll open a spot for Ryback to come back to WWE.

    Or not.

There have only been eight Universal champions, so it's not quite as exclusive a club as it seems.

    That’s no rumor.

Apparently the folks at Titan Tower thought it didn’t expire until January. How do you not know when his contract expires?

I feel like the Cole thing is a worked shoot. The guy loves HHH and HBK.

But if they add a loser leaves wwe stip to the OReilly match then we go to Defcon 5……

i HATED Cole when he first came to NXT. Couldnt stand him. I was wrong. Hes the truth
