The gymnast Carey - when she screwed up an event sunday night (it was on tv sunday night, god only knows when it actually happened), they did show the family reaction. And skinny grandma maybe had had a couple of belts - her "out of it" reaction was great.

 

I believe this track and field was on CNBC last night since USA wasn't available

 

Shit. I went through every dvr'd broadcast and did not see track and field. Maybe it didn't record.

I am actively seeking out the track and field, and I could not find it. I failed.

 

I don't have the app. I have YouTube TV, and I'm not sure which network it was on because I just scroll down until I find it. I think it was USA (which right now is showing Mexico-Brazil men's soccer), but I'm not certain.

Maybe it has something to do with you being in Pacific Time? I really don't know.

 

Oh, OK. Like I said, I don't pay attention to the channel -- just what's on.

 

Yeah, they've pretty much had a cable channel locked on it at night. I missed Caeleb Dressel's butterfly record on Friday, because we didn't realize until it was too late that we were still on cable and not on the network, which was airing some of the track simultaneously.

 

If you want to get it direct from the source, you'll probably need some translation. The Giants team store is only in Japanese.

DirecTV has an Olympics banner in its channel guide and if you click on it you’ll see thumbnail-sized live video from all Oly channels. I can’t live without it.

 

A couple of nights after it started, I was going channel to channel, not really paying much attention. I landed on WWE and thought it was the Olympics.
