Pong, but the first one I remember that I really wanted to play was Kaboom. And Asteroids for Atari.

Adventure on Atari, followed by Combat. My guess is I was around 5 or 6 when my parents got me the Atari (82/83?).
My friend down the road got a Nintendo fairly early (like maybe early 85?) so we played Ice Hockey & Mario/Duck Hunt from then on.

Definitely Atari Super Pong in the 1970s, hooked up our shitty little TV with that TV/Game switchbox that came with it.

Dad brought home on of these from a yard sale, only it was a Sears brand. Might have been another year or so before we got a 2600.

I’m sure I played an arcade game before that but couldn’t tell you which one. Probably Space Invaders.

Being of grammar school age in the '70s, Pong was the first one for me also. It was a pleasant diversion whenever we found a machine at the local pizza place, but nothing more. Space Invaders was the first game to really become popular with me and my friends, and then Pac-Man was the one that really made me want to go to an arcade and pump some quarter into the machine.
Of course, a little later we became an Atari 2600 (or Video Computer System, as it was called back then) family. The other consoles were Mattel's Intellivision (high concept but not as popular) and the Odyssey (which was kind of the ghetto version of a game console).

Pong, the small tabletop version in a bar as well as the cabinet style. I got addicted to Asteroids a bit later.

    Yes.

Journey the video game was one of the first games I played for hours in the arcade of the Sahara Hotel.

Pac Man. Q-bert. 1942. Centipede. Dig-Dug. Space Invaders. Asteroids.
