This should be absolutely illegal.
A state-level politician should only be able to raise money from people/entities from their state. Politicians with districts shouldn't be able to take money from outside their district. If you want to take money from across the country, announce a run national office.
Now, if someone is like me and is a property owner in two states, they should be able to contribute to both places. You have a stake in the race.
