It was a good final 5 minutes with an excellent hook into season 2.

Gotta say, as a straight dude, Eric Petersen (who plays Kevin) has great hair and beautiful blue eyes. Read something yesterday about comparisons between Kevin and Ralph Kramden and there's a lot of that there. I thought Kevin got better with each episode. He plays his part well. Can't stand Neil but now he's going to be a big part of season 2 based on the final scene of this season.

Yep. Loved that show. Villa finally made it back up but was one goal away from relegation in 2019-20, then had a great 20-21 season and looks solid. Hundreds of millions can hinge on one goal. How much was Aguero's 90+ goal vs. QPR worth not that long ago?

Watching it now. Korn’s lead singer comes away from this a lot more likable than I expected. Same with the Offspring. I was in my early 20s during this time period and hated so much of it. The music, the bullshit bro culture amongst white dudes. It’s easy to see how the seeds of then have grown the stupidity of today.

I ordered a Ted Lasso poster off of Etsy for my office.

Also this week's episode was excellent. My favorite of season 2. Give me more Rebecca and Nora moments.

Not sure if it's already mentioned here or on another thread, but can't wait for the Netflix series on the "Malice at the Palace." I know some Indy writers had wanted to write a book but could never get the key guys to talk; now they're talking.

I don’t find Ted Lasso particularly funny. It’s kind of a sweet show, I guess. A good fit for American millennials. Boring. Congenial. Morally erect with the usual progressive touches. A lot of younger Christians love it.
