Tie between the White Sox collared jerseys from the ‘70s and the White Sox unis from the mid-‘80s with the numbers on the pants.

Camo jerseys for teams that do not have green or brown among their real colors.

I heartily agree with you on the collared, untucked Sox jersey -- they're my pick also for worst ever. I didn't mind the "Beach Blanket Bingo" uniforms so much because they replaced the aforementioned collars and actually looked OK in comparison, IMO.

John McGraw -- with help from the National League -- tried to sabotage the American League in 1902 by gutting the Baltimore franchise mid-season when he and the team's best players jumped to the NL's Giants. AL President Ban Johnson, who had been in an ongoing feud with "Little Napoleon" from pretty much the time the league went major, was able to draft players from the other seven teams' rosters quickly enough for the Orioles to stay solvent to finish out the season. The AL then added a new team in New York for 1903.

That's why 1. The Highlanders really don't consider the 1901-02 Orioles as a true predecessor, 2. The 1904 Giants, with McGraw as manager, refused to play the World Series, 3. The National League sued for peace with a new national agreement in 1903, because the AL had cheaper ticket prices and paid better salaries.

Chris Sale was an asshole to cut his jersey up on throwback day, but he was also right.

The Rays’ “fauxback” unis — meant to evoke the late ‘70s look — are actually pretty awesome.
