Great call on Road House. I was thinking of titling this thread "Movies You Love That No One Else Does." But lots of people love Road House, so I think I made the right call.

This one has it ALL. A synth-heavy '80s soundtrack, parental estrangement, Mitch Gaylord smoking (not smoking hot, just he smokes so we realize he's a "bad boy" and has lost his way), Janet Jones and some weird subplot about a crippled kid/musical genius whose music propels one of the characters to greatness (kinda Phantom of the Opera-ish).
But to me, the best performance goes to whomever provided the VO/PA at the inevitable "big meet" that ends the thing. At one point he sounds as if he's in tears.. It's one of those movies where they have the "big ending in front of a crowd" where EVERYONE in the building seems to be aware of all the back story drama that led to that moment. (See also various court scenes, a big speech, looking at you Patch Adams).

And pretty much anything and everything from Golan-Globus

I have a soft spot for 1960s Japanes science fiction movies, especially of the space-invader genre. Here's one, appropriately titled "Attack from Space" -- part of the "Super Giant/Starman" series.

The first one that comes to mind is this "classic" that HBO would always have on in the afternoon after I got home from school. Terence Hill was the star, an Italian guy who took an American name and made some action comedies in the States.
