Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer was a great bit on SNL.

There’s nuance involved with pointing out laws were broken? Huh. I what’s thought making the accusation stood on its own, but I’m just a normal guy and this nuanced world scares and frightens me.

Due to time constraints we move ahead to further felonies.

At some point the evidence becomes so detailed and deep, the testimony by people who worked for him so damning, that it's no longer a matter of nuance or having to prove it.

They either do something about it or our government officials become completely lawless... not that the R's are not doing their best to see that it happens. If the Dems don't push the issue and draw the line that the laws do indeed apply to every damn one of them the whole thing is going to implode. Checks and balances depend on there being some actual check on power being applied.

This has to be like the Fonz snapping his fingers and getting the pretty ladies on his bike, right? The easiest of pickings.

Forget the old way of rolling up the underlings to get to the boss. The fucking boss is more exposed than Ethel in a Ray Stevens song. Nail him.

I'm not suggesting my client hasn't broken numerous laws and done bad things and is in general a bad person. I'm saying the prosecution is so relentless so as to have ended all nuance.

I’ll forward this defense strategy to my wife. I’m sure the judge and jury will find it compelling.

The Delta variant comes from undocumented immigrants coming over the Mexican border is the latest in a line of talking points which can’t be disproven. So therefore is just a likely to be true as anything.

Hutchinson apparently acknowledged again Sunday on one of the talking-head shows that he committed an "error" in signing the bill into law.

Has anybody noticed how rare it is for a Republican officeholder to admit making a mistake? When I was working, we were counseled to own our errors. But these bastards are so godawful certain about everything. In my old workplace we considered that a character flaw.
