They could really turn this into an entire niche weekend if they wanted.

    Field of Dreams on Friday.
    Williamsport on Saturday.
Hell I dunno on Sunday, maybe pay tribute to the Negro Leagues by playing at an old park still in existence.

Has there been a baseball movie of note this century?

Stat cast was not in operation. I’d love to know how many of the HR, most of which went to RF, would have been out of a majority of ballparks.

Abreu’s shot, Jimenez’s shot, Judge’s second shot and Anderson’s walkoff were all no-doubters. Judge’s first shot probably depended on the park, Stanton’s barely cleared the wall. I missed Zavala and Gardner’s HRs.

An interesting point. Are they not making baseball movies anymore because the movie-going public (largely 12-25) isn't interested?

That's what I would suspect, yes.

The Rookie and 61* were both made this century (albeit early on). There was also 42 and Trouble With the Curve. Oh, and that Jimmy Fallon shitpiece.
